The 2010 - 2011 season saw success from all sports teams. Winning seasons are nothing out of the ordinary for The Wind; the trophy case displays years of dedication and achievement. God has blessed our student-athletes with physical abilities that enable them to be competitive with most teams they encounter. However, sometimes success has to be attributed to hard work instead of talent. Although we are proud of their accomplishments on the court and field, we are most excited about their accomplishments in the classroom and for the Lord. Most important is to have their lives be a trophy of grace in the Lord's work than having an award to showcase in the trophy cabinet. We encourage each student to remember that they should display Christian character and sportsmanship above winning. Team or individual records are temporal, but what they do for Christ will last an eternity! |
